Many conservative Party members aren't truly conservative. They're conservatives in name only, raised in families that called themselves conservative without understanding what that means.
The Reality Behind Conservative Identity
After working with conservatives most of my life, I can tell you most don't hold traditional conservative values. Traditional conservatives believe capitalism allows employers to pay whatever they want and charge whatever they want for products.
When you work alongside conservative workers, they have the same complaints as everyone else. Pay doesn't cover bills, benefits are terrible, and healthcare is unattainable. These same conservatives complain about grocery costs, product prices, and rent increases from landlords who raise rates yearly with no end in sight.
The Contradiction in Conservative Voting
These conservatives complain about prescription prices while Big Pharma CEOs gouge the American public. They show up to work livid that their boss gives them only a 25-cent annual raise.
"When it comes time to vote, they happily vote for candidates who espouse free market capitalism and employers' rights to pay whatever they want."
Conservative politicians who oppose living wages harm their own voter base. Alt-right politicians espouse moral standards like abstaining from alcohol and drugs.
Lifestyle vs. Political Choices
It's normal to find conservative voters partying, drinking beer, smoking marijuana, and having fun. These conservatives in name only vote for politicians who want to ban Sunday alcohol sales, create dry counties, or prohibit marijuana in all forms.
Conservative voters consistently vote against their own interests by electing officials who make life less free.
The Evidence of Fraudulent Ideals
Conservative Party ideals are fraudulent. How many more conservative politicians, priests, rabbis, and self-professed conservative voters must be arrested for sexual assault and despicable acts?
How many more politicians and pastors must get divorced for adultery? Conservative politicians espouse values they can't uphold and ideals they can't maintain, leaving mixed signals everywhere.
The Root Problem:
The average conservative voter was raised by parents from a time when God and religion were central to life. Today, most conservatives don't actually follow biblical values or religious principles.
Living Against Their Own Votes
They live completely differently from how they vote. When conservative voters realize they deserve living wages, cheaper groceries, affordable utilities, healthcare, and protection from billionaire CEO price gouging, the conservative Party as we know it will end.
Final Thoughts
The disconnect between conservative values and voting patterns reveals a fundamental contradiction in American politics. When people vote against their economic interests while complaining about the policies they support, it creates frustration and ineffective governance.
Then, truly, the United States of America will be a more perfect union.
